ISRO LPSC opens Scientist-Engineer recruitment, apply by October 13
The Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre of ISRO has opened applications for Scientist-Engineer ‘SC’ posts under advertisement LPSC/03/2026, dated September 26.
Three posts are on offer, one each in Welding, Turbo Machinery and Power Electronics, at Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram. Online registration runs from 2:00 pm on September 29 to 2:00 pm on October 13, 2026, with fee payment open until October 14.
Candidates need a B.E. or B.Tech degree with at least 65 per cent marks along with an M.E. or M.Tech with at least 60 per cent in the relevant discipline. A separate online application must be filed for each post code. The maximum age limit is 30 years as on October 13, 2026, with relaxations as per government rules.
Selected candidates will be placed at Level 10 of the pay matrix, drawing between Rs 56,100 and Rs 1,77,500 per month. The selection process carries a written test and a personal interview, with equal weightage given to both.
LPSC designs and delivers liquid and electric propulsion systems for ISRO launch vehicles and satellites. The first posting is at Valiamala, though selected officers can later be moved to any ISRO or Department of Space unit in India.
