Miley Cyrus has earned her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 in more than a decade, as her tenth studio album Bass Persuades debuted at the summit with 61,000 equivalent album units.

Now billing herself simply as Miley, the 33-year-old narrowly edged out Ella Langley’s Dandelion, which held No. 2 with nearly 61,000 units, according to Billboard. Riley Green’s That’s Just Me rounded out the top three with 60,000 units.

The album is her first chart-topper since Bangerz reached No. 1 in October 2013, and her sixth No. 1 overall, extending a run of 16 top-10 entries across her career. It is also her first album under Atlantic Records, following her move from Columbia in 2026.

The opening week was supported by several limited digital releases, including instrumental and a cappella versions and a demo edition with previously unheard voice notes, issued through iTunes during the tracking week.

Miley marked the milestone with a note on social media thanking her fans. She also shared a photo of herself posing with a floral bouquet arranged in the shape of the number 1.
