Hayley Matthews struck a brilliant 118 to power West Indies Women to a 91-run win over Zimbabwe in the third ODI in Harare, sealing a 2-1 series victory. Batting first on September 30, Matthews hit 14 fours in her 113-ball knock, her 14th one-day international century and the joint-second most in women's ODI history. A 160-run partnership with Shemaine Campbelle, who made 96, lifted West Indies to 271 for five. Zimbabwe were bowled out for 180, with Josephine Nkomo's unbeaten 74 the only real resistance. Matthews, named player of the series, finished with 326 runs in three innings at 108.66, including two centuries. Her 182 in the first ODI was the highest score by a West Indies woman in one-dayers. It was her fifth ODI century of 2026, equalling the calendar-year record held by Laura Wolvaardt, Tazmin Brits and Smriti Mandhana, who each made five in 2025. The win gave West Indies a deserved series triumph.
