India enjoyed a golden day at the Asian Games on September 30, winning four gold medals in a single session, three in compound archery and one in shooting. The women's compound team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Chikitha Taniparthi and Prithika Pradeep beat China 238-234, equalling the world record. The mixed team of Chikitha and Sahil Rajesh Jadhav then defeated Korea in a shoot-off, 10-9, after a 157-157 tie, also securing an Olympic quota for Los Angeles 2028. The men's team of Sahil Jadhav, Ganesh Mani Ratnam Thirumuru and Kushal Dalal completed the archery sweep, beating China 238-237 after a comeback from 118-120 down. In shooting, Neeru Dhanda and Kynan Chenai won the trap mixed team event with 34 points. The four titles took India's gold count to ten. The clean sweep across all three compound team events underlined India's dominance in the discipline on the day. The results also strengthened India's medal haul as the athletics and boxing events head into their final rounds.
