AC Milan, Roma eye January loan for Real Madrid’s Endrick

AC Milan and Roma are monitoring Real Madrid forward Endrick ahead of the January transfer window. The 20-year-old Brazilian has played only four minutes for Madrid this season. His lack of game time has raised concerns about his development.
Endrick returned to Madrid this summer after a productive loan spell at Lyon. He scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 21 appearances for the French club. But he has made just one brief appearance for Madrid this season, against Elche.
Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti has flagged the wider problem. “Without playing, they cannot progress,” he warned about young Brazilian players struggling for minutes at big European clubs.
Reports say Madrid are open to a January loan but will not sell the player. Milan and Roma are both comfortable with a straight loan deal. Endrick is understood to be open to either destination for regular first-team football.
Madrid signed Endrick from Palmeiras in a deal worth 35 million euros. The striker is open to a loan move for regular first-team football.
