India’s NVS-03 navigation satellite mission is reportedly targeting a launch window around October 15 to 20, 2026. The satellite will fly on the GSLV Mk II rocket.

NVS-03 is part of the NavIC constellation, India’s own regional navigation system. NavIC provides position signals over India and the surrounding region.

Another report has suggested a late-October or November timeline. The space agency has not published a firm countdown or date so far.

The mission is important for keeping the NavIC network healthy. Older satellites in the series need backup as they age.
