Disability Advocate Wins $3,500 Impact Hero Award

Grace Hill has announced the winners of its 2026 Impact Hero Awards. The fifth annual programme honours people at the company’s client firms for volunteer work and advocacy. The company awarded 6,500 dollars in donations across the winners’ chosen charities. The 2026 grand prize of 3,500 dollars went to Margaret McNutt of ROAR Florida and Noah’s Ark of Central Florida. Her advocacy of more than three decades has helped expand opportunities for people with developmental disabilities and their families. It began after her son, Jared, was diagnosed. In 1998, she helped set up Noah’s Ark of Central Florida after studying residential communities across the country. Her vision led to The Villages at Noah’s Landing, a 56-acre community that began welcoming residents in 2016. It now serves 126 residents, with independent living, learning, work and recreation. McNutt also volunteers as a coach for adaptive sports and leads a weekly yoga class.
