Avengers: Endgame Encore crosses ₹30 cr, sets India record

Avengers: Endgame — Encore has raced past ₹30 crore gross in India, becoming the highest-grossing Hollywood re-release the country has ever seen. The film collected ₹30.75 crore gross (₹26.10 crore nett) in its first five days, powered past Interstellar’s re-release record.
The day-wise run tells the story of the frenzy: ₹8 crore, ₹9 crore and ₹8.75 crore over the opening weekend, followed by ₹2.5 crore each on Monday and Tuesday. On day six it added ₹2.06 crore nett (₹2.43 crore gross), taking the India total to ₹32.43 crore nett.
India has emerged as the fifth-biggest market for the re-release worldwide, contributing $2.8 million. The re-run has also lifted Endgame’s India lifetime total to ₹395.50 crore, making it the second-highest-grossing Hollywood film ever in India — behind only Spider-Man: Brand New Day (₹500.20 crore) and ahead of Avatar: The Way of Water (₹391.40 crore).
Globally, the re-release opened to $60 million in its first weekend, pushing the film’s worldwide total to nearly $2.885 billion — just $39 million behind Avatar. The 4-minute bonus footage, a new post-credits scene and a Doomsday sneak peek have driven repeat viewings. Avengers: Doomsday releases December 18, 2026, clashing with Dune: Part Three.
