The Vvaan collects ₹6.10 cr on day 5, crosses ₹46 cr nett

Sidharth Malhotra’s The Vvaan picked up pace on its fifth day, collecting ₹6.10 crore nett — a 14.88% jump over day four’s ₹5.31 crore, helped by discounted Tuesday pricing.
The five-day India total now stands at ₹46.04 crore nett (₹54.26 crore gross), with worldwide collections at ₹58.83 crore gross, according to producer figures reported by trade trackers.
The horror-comedy, directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Anup Soni, Shweta Tiwari and Maniesh Paul, has found favour in Bihar and eastern circuits thanks to its Chhath festival connection. Made on a reported budget of around ₹80 crore, it needs a strong second weekend to break even.
Trade figures differ — some trackers peg the five-day nett at ₹41.77 crore — but the trend is clearly upward. The film now faces its biggest test: Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion releases on October 2 and will eat into its screens. A Gandhi Jayanti holiday boost could still carry The Vvaan past the ₹60-crore mark.
