YouTuber MrBeast joined Ranbir Kapoor at the pre-release event for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana in Mumbai on Saturday. A clip of him repeating "Jai Shri Ram" after Ranbir prompted him went viral online.

The makers then released new posters of the two-part film. They feature Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Ravie Dubey together, plus a separate poster of Yash as Ravana. The film is billed as one of India's most expensive productions.

The event drew a large media crowd but ran several hours late. Reporters staged a walkout over the delay, according to Bollywood Hungama, and Ranbir reportedly told journalists they could leave if they wished.

The Mumbai session also included producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari, who discussed the film's scale and its push for global audiences. The producers plan to localise the film for international markets, including Japan and Spanish-speaking regions.

Ramayana Part One is planned for release around Diwali 2026, with Part Two slated for Diwali 2027.
