Life Time launches first Community Week

Life Time has announced its first-ever Community Week, a national service initiative running October 11 to 17. The healthy lifestyle company will gather members and staff at its athletic clubs for local service projects, group workouts and giving campaigns. The centrepiece is Unite the Night on October 15, a free community workout benefiting the Life Time Foundation. Life Time will match donations to the foundation, up to $100,000, through October 17, doubling support for healthier school meals, youth movement and environmental causes. Each club will pick its own local causes. In the Orlando area, Life Time Winter Park will support All Kids Bike, run a food drive and host a junior nutrition seminar. Life Time called the week Get Together. Give Together. Our clubs have always been deeply connected to the communities they serve, said executive Eric Buss. The foundation is the company’s public charity. Community Week extends its impact beyond club walls with activities tailored to each city’s needs.
