Houthis Claim Missile Attack on Saudi Airport

Yemen’s Houthi rebels have claimed a missile attack on Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport. The claim was reported on October 9.
Saudi Arabia is facing heightened security concerns after recent airport attacks. The kingdom has stepped up defences around key sites.
The Houthis are backed by Iran. Their attacks on Saudi cities and oil facilities have grown bolder in recent weeks.
The claim comes amid rising Middle East tensions. The US and Iran are holding talks even as both sides raise military pressure.
Saudi Arabia has also resumed oil exports from its Gulf and Red Sea coasts. It repaired part of its East-West pipeline after an attack last month.
Neither Saudi officials nor independent sources have confirmed the latest claim.
The Houthis have targeted Saudi airports and oil sites for years. Recent attacks have become more frequent. The group says it acts in support of regional allies. Riyadh has invested heavily in air defences.
