Samsung One UI 9 reaches Galaxy A57, first mid-range update

Samsung has started rolling out stable One UI 9 to the Galaxy A57. It is the first mid-range Galaxy phone to get the Android 17 update. The rollout began in South Korea, where the phone is sold as the Galaxy Quantum 7.
The update carries firmware version A576SKSU2BZIE. It marks the end of the A57’s One UI 9 beta program. Other markets are expected to get the update in the coming days.
Earlier rollouts covered the Galaxy S26 series from September 16, the S25 family and the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. The Galaxy S24 series and 2024 foldables are now getting it in Korea. The US and Europe are next in line.
One UI 9 adds My FanCam, which keeps a selected person centred in recorded videos. It brings Now Nudge, which suggests actions from messages. The Quick Panel gets resizable widgets. New Privacy Alerts warn when apps access permissions in the background.
