OnePlus 16 scores 56.3 lakh on AnTuTu in internal tests

OnePlus has teased the performance of its upcoming OnePlus 16, announcing on Weibo that the phone scored 56,33,288 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform in the company’s internal testing.

The score is notably higher than the 53,84,433 points spotted earlier for the model number PYB110, which was listed with Android 17, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

OnePlus also revealed new gaming features. The phone will ship with a next-generation Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel, which the company claims will allow native 185 fps gaming.

The handset will also feature a proprietary Esports Tri-Core: Oppo’s P4 Super Display Chip, Lingxi Touch Chip and G3 Esports Network Chip, for display performance, touch response and network stability.

For cooling, OnePlus announced a new Glacier Cooling System with a vapour chamber claimed to deliver 40 percent better performance, plus a Glacial Thermal Conductive Gel with 50 percent improved heat management. The phone will have a horizontal grip design for long gaming sessions.

The OnePlus 16 is confirmed to launch on October 12 in China. It is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset.
