Chinese autonomous-driving software firm Momenta has signed a global strategic partnership with Dongfeng Stellantis Automotive Technology (Wuhan) to co-develop intelligent driving technology, Reuters reported Monday. The deal brings Jeep and Peugeot into Momenta’s growing roster of global brands.

The two sides will jointly develop advanced driver-assistance systems for new mass-produced Peugeot and Jeep models, deploying them across China, Europe and other markets, according to Momenta’s statement. Peugeot and Jeep will work with Momenta on product definition and co-development to tailor features to each brand’s identity.

The partnership builds on Momenta’s R7 world model, which made its mass-production debut in April 2026, according to ChinaEVHome. New energy models equipped with Momenta’s systems, spanning battery-electric and plug-in hybrid options, are scheduled to enter production from 2027.

Momenta’s driver-assistance software is already on the road in more than 1.2 million vehicles, according to Reuters. The deal extends the company’s push beyond its mainstay customers among German premium automakers.
