Apple’s 512GB RAM Mac Studio Arrives in Late October

Apple will release a high-end Mac Studio configuration with the M5 Ultra chip and 512GB of RAM in late October. The new Mac Studio models with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips launched last week.
The 512GB memory option targets professionals running heavy workloads. Large memory capacity helps with tasks like AI model training, video editing and 3D rendering.
The Mac Studio sits between the Mac mini and Mac Pro in Apple’s desktop lineup. It pairs workstation-class performance with a compact design.
Apple is also expected to update more Macs this autumn. Rumours point to a 24-inch iMac with an M6 chip and new 14-inch MacBook Pro models.
The late-October timing gives buyers a short wait for the top configuration. Pricing for the 512GB model has not been detailed separately.
The Mac Studio update comes as Apple refreshes its desktop line. Creative professionals have long asked for more memory headroom on the model.
