BMW Unveils New 3 Series With 437-HP M350

BMW has revealed the eighth-generation G50 3 Series sedan. The new model keeps turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines with mild-hybrid technology.
The performance-focused M350 xDrive produces 437 horsepower. It reaches 60 mph in 3.9 seconds with standard all-wheel drive.
Pricing starts from 49,900 dollars, excluding destination charges. In Germany, the entry-level 318 starts at 49,900 euros while a fully loaded model can reach 101,655 euros.
Production of the new 3 Series starts next month in Dingolfing. A plug-in hybrid variant will join the lineup over the coming year.
The electric BMW i3, based on the same Neue Klasse design language, arrived earlier. BMW says its technology-open approach offers buyers a choice of powertrains.
The new 3 Series brings updated styling inside and out. The 3 Series has long been BMW’s volume seller globally, and dealers expect strong demand when deliveries begin.
BMW will offer an over-the-air Drift Moment feature for the M350 next year, adding a rear-wheel-drive mode for enthusiasts.
