iQOO Neo 12 with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 appears on Geekbench
The iQOO Neo 12 has surfaced on Geekbench with the model number V2618A, revealing key specifications ahead of launch.
The listing shows Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 16GB of RAM and Android 17-based OriginOS 7. The phone scored 3,621 points in single-core and 11,078 in multi-core tests.
Tipster Digital Chat Station claims the phone will launch in China later this month with a 2K+ AMOLED display offering a 185Hz refresh rate, sourced from Visionox.
It is also tipped to feature an active cooling fan for gaming, a battery exceeding 9,000mAh with 100W fast charging, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Reports suggest the phone could launch in India under the iQOO 16R name. iQOO has not officially confirmed the specifications.
The Neo series has built a strong following among mobile gamers in India for offering flagship-level performance at mid-range prices. If the 185Hz display rumor holds, the Neo 12 would have the fastest screen on any mainstream phone.
