iPhone Duo can preview documents in two-page layout

The iPhone Duo's Quick Look feature can preview documents in a two-page layout when the foldable is held in its open-book position, according to a new finding by code explorer pdfu.
A video clip shared on X on October 6 shows an Apple Style Guide document spread across both halves of the unfolded phone, with consecutive pages displayed side by side. When navigating, the Quick Look interface shows search, markup and share controls along the right-hand side, MacRumors reported.
Quick Look is the latest feature to take advantage of the Duo's wide-format display. Apple has already detailed how iOS 27 adapts interfaces for the device, including angle-aware layouts and side-by-side multitasking.
The discovery adds to the list of software tricks Apple is building for its first foldable, which goes on sale on October 23. With a 7.6-inch inner display, the Duo is being positioned as a device that can handle both phone and tablet-style tasks.
