Cognizant says Trizetto deal will not dent 2026 guidance

Cognizant has said the completion of its Trizetto transaction will not affect its financial guidance for 2026. The IT services firm addressed investor concerns after the deal closed.
Chief executive Ravi Kumar S said the healthcare software business remains a core part of the company’s portfolio. The transaction was structured to avoid any hit to revenue or margins.
Trizetto provides software to US healthcare payers and providers. The unit has been a steady earner for Cognizant since it was acquired as part of a larger deal.
The company maintained its full-year outlook for revenue growth and profitability. Executives said demand for healthcare technology services remains strong.
Analysts said the clarity should reassure investors. Cognizant’s shares have been sensitive to deal-related news as the firm reshapes its business mix.
Cognizant is one of the largest IT services employers in India, with major delivery centres in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Healthcare is among its most profitable verticals.
