Anthropic eyes 2027 IPO at over $300 billion valuation

Artificial intelligence firm Anthropic is preparing for a public listing in 2027 at a valuation above 300 billion dollars, according to reports.
The company behind the Claude AI models has grown at a blistering pace. Its annualised revenue touched 14 billion dollars in mid-2026, up from about 1 billion at the start of 2025.
The listing would rank among the largest technology IPOs in history. Investors have poured money into AI firms as businesses rush to adopt generative AI tools.
Anthropic competes directly with OpenAI and Google in the market for advanced AI models. Its Claude assistant is widely used by companies for coding, writing and customer support.
The company has not confirmed the IPO plans. Market watchers said the timing will depend on investor appetite and the broader mood in technology stocks.
Anthropic was founded by former OpenAI researchers and has raised billions from investors including Google and Amazon. Its rapid revenue growth has made it one of the most valuable private AI firms.
