Ovarian cancer combo shows 48% survival at three years

Agenus has reported an estimated 48 percent three-year survival with its BOT+BAL drug combination in recurrent ovarian cancer, presenting the data at IGCS 2026 on October 3.
The Phase 1b C-800-01 trial included 35 patients with recurrent disease who had at least one tumour scan after starting therapy, Business Wire reported. Nearly three-quarters had platinum-resistant or refractory disease.
Overall survival was estimated at 48 percent at both two and three years. Median overall survival was 14.8 months. The objective response rate was 23 percent, including one complete and seven partial responses.
A quarter of the 44 patients who received treatment were alive and off all therapy at last follow-up. “What stands out with longer follow-up is the survival plateau in patients who had already received multiple treatments,” said presenter Rebecca L. Porter of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
BOT and BAL are not yet approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. The data cutoff for the analysis was December 13, 2025.
