Tyler Loop kicked a 56-yard field goal as time expired, lifting the Baltimore Ravens to a 34-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. It was the NFL’s third game in Brazil and its first in Rio.

Dallas had tied the game on Brandon Aubrey’s 23-yard field goal with seven seconds left. But Lamar Jackson fired a 27-yard pass to Zay Flowers and called timeout with one second on the clock, setting up Loop’s game-winner. Jackson threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns, while Derrick Henry ran for 89 yards and two scores.

For a moment, the Cowboys looked set to win in regulation. They reached the Ravens’ 2-yard line, but after a pass-interference call and a false start, Dak Prescott’s third-down throw to George Pickens sailed incomplete. Prescott finished with 276 yards and a touchdown.

The Ravens improved to 2-1 after last week’s home loss to New Orleans, while the Cowboys fell to 1-2. The game drew an announced crowd of 72,792. Baltimore heads home with momentum; Dallas faces a long flight back and a losing record.
