Kohli and Rohit to play next ODI on November 4 in Auckland

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will next play an ODI for India on November 4 in Auckland. The two senior batters featured in all three matches of the ODI series against the West Indies, which ended on October 3 with India’s defeat in New Chandigarh. Shai Hope’s unbeaten 162 off 143 balls denied India a series sweep with a five-wicket win for the visitors. Rohit scored 32, 101 and 92 across the three games. Kohli made 139 not out, 29 and a golden duck. With no ODIs scheduled for India in the next 30 days, the New Zealand tour is their next 50-over outing. India play five T20Is in New Zealand from October 22, then five ODIs and two Tests. Rohit, fourth in the ICC ODI batting rankings, has 437 runs in 13 ODIs in New Zealand with four fifties. Kohli has 596 runs in 13 ODIs there, with one century and four fifties.
