KL Rahul Enters Top 10 as Gill Holds No. 1 in ICC ODI Rankings

KL Rahul climbed seven places to break into the top 10 of the latest ICC ODI batting rankings, while Shubman Gill retained the No. 1 spot after a stunning series against the West Indies.
Rahul’s century in the third ODI powered his rise to 10th place, rewarding a run of consistent performances. Gill, meanwhile, strengthened his grip on top spot with a career-best 841 rating points, following his unbeaten 223 in the second ODI.
Gill’s double century was the highest individual score in an ODI run chase and his second 200 in the format, underlining his status as the world’s premier ODI batter. Virat Kohli slipped to third, with New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell second and Rohit Sharma fourth.
In the T20I rankings, Shreyas Iyer jumped 18 spots to seventh after his 43-ball 102 against the West Indies, while Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma held the top two positions.
The rankings reflect India’s white-ball dominance at the moment. With the team performing strongly across formats, Indian batters occupy leading positions in both lists, setting up an exciting season ahead.
