India completed a golden double in Asian Games cricket on Saturday. The men’s team beat arch-rivals Pakistan by 19 runs in the final in Nisshin.

Abhishek raced to a 20-ball fifty with seven sixes and three fours. He survived a run-out chance before being stumped in the eighth over. Varma reached his fifty in 21 balls and took India past 200 with a late surge.
Chasing 212, Pakistan limped to 76 for 3 at the halfway mark. Hasan Nawaz kept them in the hunt with a defiant 96 off 51 balls. But he fell to the last ball of the match as Pakistan finished on 192 for 6.
It was India’s seventh straight T20I win over Pakistan. Earlier, Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 63 runs to take the bronze.
