World Cup 2027 schedule out: final on Nov 21 at Wanderers

The International Cricket Council has announced the schedule for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027. The tournament runs from October 7 to November 21 across South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
Fourteen teams will contest 54 matches, the same format as the 2003 edition. The final will be played on November 21 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, with a reserve day on November 22.
The two semi-finals are set for November 17 at Newlands in Cape Town and November 18 at Tshwane University Oval in Pretoria. Both are day matches starting at 10:00 local time.
India opens its campaign against Australia at Newlands on October 7. The high-voltage India-Pakistan clash is scheduled for October 10 in Johannesburg, while India faces England at the Wanderers on October 25.
South Africa opens against Zimbabwe in East London. The ticket ballot is open, with tickets priced between 9.62 and 31.31 dollars.
The tournament returns to South Africa for the first time since 2003. Ten full members and four qualifiers will feature, and the ICC says the two-month event will be the biggest in World Cup history.
