Rahul Gandhi launches Satyagraha protest-map platform

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched Satyagraha, a digital platform that maps citizen protests across India. The portal went live on Saturday, days after the Delhi protests against the Election Commission. The platform, at rahulgandhi.in/satyagraha, lets people submit their struggles in about two minutes. Each entry appears as a pin on a nationwide map.
Gandhi said isolated voices get silenced, but together they become visible.Early entries cover students, farmers, women, Dalits, tribals and price rise. Organisers say more than 10,000 people signed up within nine hours of launch. Congress says it will review each case and raise issues in Parliament, in court or on the streets.Gandhi framed the launch around Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy of non-violent resistance.
He named it after the 157th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, which fell on October 2.Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said the initiative will run for years. The party hopes the map turns scattered local protests into one visible national movement.
