PM-Kisan 24th Instalment Expected in Oct-Nov; e-KYC Mandatory

The 24th instalment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme is expected between October and November 2026, in line with the scheme’s four-month payment cycle, according to scheme trackers.
The 23rd instalment was released on June 20, 2026, from West Bengal, when 9.44 crore farmers received a total of 18,880 crore rupees, the government said. The government has not yet announced an official date for the 24th instalment.
Under the scheme, eligible land-holding farmer families receive 6,000 rupees a year in three instalments of 2,000 rupees, transferred directly to their bank accounts.
The government has made e-KYC mandatory for receiving the payment. Farmers can complete it through the PM-KISAN mobile app’s face authentication feature, biometric verification at a Common Service Centre, or OTP-based e-KYC on the official portal. Farmers should also ensure their Aadhaar is seeded to their bank account and land records are updated.
Officials have advised farmers to rely only on the official PM-KISAN portal and helpline and to ignore social media forwards claiming specific release dates.
