Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's comedy Udta Teer released in cinemas on October 9. The film marks their second collaboration after Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.

Backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, Udta Teer is positioned as a humour-driven family entertainer. Comic chaos and situational comedy form the core of the story.

The film marks the directorial debut of writer Akash A Kaushik. It is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain.

Udta Teer arrives a week after Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3, which released on October 2. The holdover strength of Drishyam 3 could affect Udta Teer at the box office.

The makers are expected to share more details about the storyline and the rest of the cast. The quirky first poster showed Ayushmann hanging between the India and Pakistan border markers, hinting at the film's offbeat tone."" Early reactions to the film's trailer have been positive. The chemistry between Ayushmann and Sara was appreciated in their previous outing. Trade experts will watch the opening weekend numbers closely.
