Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment’s spy comedy Udta Teer releases in cinemas on October 9, 2026.

Ayushmann Khurrana stars as Bilal, a Pakistani spy who loses his memory after an explosion and wakes up believing he is an Indian counter-terrorism officer. Sara Ali Khan plays a fellow CTS officer who works with him, unaware of his real identity.

The film is written and directed by debutant Aakash A Kaushik and produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain. The supporting cast includes Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Raghubir Yadav and Mukul Dev in his final on-screen role.

The first song, Bhootni Ka, composed by Sachin-Jigar, has already released. Promotions are in full swing, with the lead pair touring cities including Ahmedabad.

With its mix of espionage satire and comedy, Udta Teer is positioned as a family entertainer this October.

The film reunites Ayushmann and Sara after Pati Patni Aur Woh Do and is expected to compete strongly at the box office next weekend.
