Temi Nkem has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, themed Show Ya Sef, at the live finale on Sunday night.

The 21-year-old secured 25.87 percent of the public votes to beat fellow finalists Aikou and Sheba, who finished as first and second runners-up with 23.68 and 9.80 percent respectively.

Temi takes home the record N160 million grand prize, comprising N90 million in cash, a brand-new SUV valued at N60 million and other sponsored prizes. It is the biggest payout in the show’s history since it debuted in 2006.

Nkem, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, emerged from a season that began with 24 housemates and lasted 70 days. She succeeds Imisi as the latest champion and becomes the fifth female winner.

The finale featured performances by Teni and Oshamo and was hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Nine housemates contested the final after Keivo was disqualified close to the end.
