Taylor Swift drops four new songs on Showgirl encore edition
Taylor Swift has released four new songs. They appear on The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, out Friday. The tracks are Patient Zero, Cleveland!, Pink Clouding and Babylon.
Swift recorded them in Sweden with Max Martin and Shellback. The trio went there to celebrate the album's record opening week. There was a studio nearby. They wrote more songs. Swift said they were born out of pure gratitude for fans.
The original album arrived in October 2025 as a 12-track record. It became the fastest-selling album in US history. It sold four million equivalent units in its first week. Globally it was the bestselling album of 2025. Swift had said that tracklist was complete.
Patient Zero is the first single. Its video premieres at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. The Life of a Showgirl is up for Best Album there. Context: Swift heads into the show set to receive a new Artist Director Honor.
