Swara Bhasker broke down on the reality show Rise and Fall Season 2 as she missed her three-year-old daughter Raabiyaa. The emotional moment was caught on video.
A fellow contestant saying the word sushi reminded Swara of her daughter, and she could not hold back her tears. She asked to be shown a photograph or even a glimpse of Raabiyaa’s face.
“Yaar uska face dikhado, uski photo dikhado please,” she was heard saying in the clip. Co-contestant Gautam Gulati asked her what had triggered the reaction.
Tej Pratap Yadav and Shehzad Poonawalla comforted her as she struggled to regain her composure. The show, hosted by Virender Sehwag, keeps contestants away from their families for weeks.
Swara welcomed Raabiyaa with her husband Fahad Ahmad in September 2023. She joined the show on September 26 for a six-week stint, leaving her daughter behind on her birthday.
The actress has often said motherhood changed her priorities. She chose this show over Bigg Boss 20 because a three-month commitment felt too long.
