Hanuman Ansh topped the third quarter of 2026 at the Indian box office, according to a report card published on October 7. The devotional drama led both the highest-grossing chart and the most-booked list on BookMyShow for the July-September quarter.
The film, made on a reported budget of just Rs 2 crore, has collected over Rs 326 crore in India and more than Rs 420 crore worldwide. It crossed 80 lakh tickets on BookMyShow, ranking 8th among the biggest Bollywood films by ticket sales.
Hanuman Ansh opened with only Rs 0.10 crore in its first week but grew through word of mouth, collecting Rs 90.65 crore in its fifth week. It has overtaken the lifetime global collections of Chennai Express and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
It became the third 2026 release to cross Rs 300 crore in India, after Dhurandhar The Revenge and Border 2. Malayalam film Bethlehem Kudumba Unit was the other surprise hit of the quarter, earning over Rs 310 crore worldwide.
Sacnilk's report noted that the quarter produced several major successes, with Hindi alone nearing Rs 1,000 crore in collections between July and September.
