Drishyam franchise needs Rs 27.60 cr more for Top 10 spot

The Drishyam franchise is racing toward the Top 10 Hindi film franchises of all time. After the third film’s Rs 174 crore opening weekend, the franchise’s combined India net has surged to about Rs 481.67 crore.
Before The Conclusion released, the franchise stood at No. 21 with Rs 307.67 crore from its first two films – Rs 67.13 crore from Drishyam and Rs 240.54 crore from Drishyam 2. It has now climbed to around No. 12 in a matter of days.
The No. 10 spot is held by the Singham franchise at Rs 509.27 crore. Drishyam needs just Rs 27.60 crore more from the third film to overtake Singham and break into the Top 10.
The turnaround is striking. The third film alone has added more than half of the combined lifetime business of the first two films in one weekend. At its current pace, the franchise should cross the cut-off within its first week.
