Haryana, Chhattisgarh CMs Woo Singapore Investors

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended a Singapore Business Federation programme on October 4 to attract investment to their states. India’s Ambassador to Singapore, Dr Shilpak Ambule, was also present.
Saini pitched Haryana’s investor-friendly policies, industrial potential and infrastructure. He urged Singapore’s business community to use the investment opportunities in the state. Sai highlighted Chhattisgarh’s investment potential. The ambassador stressed stronger economic ties between the two countries.
Discussions covered manufacturing, technology, logistics, energy, education and healthcare. Singapore industrialists and sector representatives took part.
Sai also represented Chhattisgarh at the inaugural Singapore-India Network for Growth Forum on October 5. He shared the stage with Singapore minister Gan Siow Huang. The MEA nominated Sai for the forum, signalling a push to connect interior Indian states directly with global capital.
The Singapore Business Federation is the city-state’s apex private-sector body. It represents over 27,000 member companies. The SING Forum marks a new diplomatic-commercial channel between Singapore and India. It connects sub-national Indian governments directly with global capital.
