Coca-Cola India Plans December DRHP for $1-Billion IPO

New Delhi: Coca-Cola's India bottling arm is planning to file its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) in December for a $1-billion initial public offering, according to a Bloomberg report dated September 30. The listing is expected to value the business at around $10 billion.

The company has added Axis Capital and IIFL to the roster of bankers managing the issue, signalling that preparations for the mega-listing are gathering pace. A DRHP filing in December would set the stage for the IPO in early 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.

The offering would be one of the largest consumer-sector listings in India and comes as multinational companies increasingly tap Indian capital markets to unlock value in their local operations.

Analysts said the listing will test investor appetite for large consumer IPOs and could set a pricing benchmark for the beverages sector. The company has not officially confirmed the timeline.

The India business includes company-owned bottling operations and franchise partners. A successful listing would rank among the biggest IPOs of 2027 and give Indian investors direct exposure to the beverages giant's local growth story.
