Dino Morea Questioned Again in Mithi River Case

Actor Dino Morea was questioned by the Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing on Friday for the second time in the alleged Mithi River desilting scam, according to the Hindustan Times.
Investigators summoned the actor after phone records indicated contact with people linked to the case. Police said Morea’s brother Santino Rocco Morea and Punita Kadam, wife of arrested accused Ketan Kadam, are directors in UBO Ridez Private Limited, and financial transactions between them are being verified.
Ketan Kadam, whose firm Woder India LLP won desilting contracts, was arrested on May 7 and is among 13 people booked for allegedly causing the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation a loss of Rs 65.54 crore through inflated tenders and irregularities. The Morea brothers were also questioned in May 2025.
Some outlets reported the actor was arrested after hours of questioning, citing Mid-Day. Morea denied this, telling the publication “Not true,” and the EOW had not confirmed any arrest. No wrongdoing has been established against the actor so far.
