Advance bookings for Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion have crossed Rs 10 crore gross, three days before the film’s October 2 release, trade watchers said.

The film has already sold around four lakh tickets for its opening weekend, and it has surpassed the final advance collections of Drishyam 2, which stood at Rs 5.09 crore.

Trade analysts project an opening day of Rs 45 crore or more, which would make it one of the biggest starts for a Hindi film this year.

Advance bookings opened on September 27, and the response has been strongest in single screens and mass centres, where the franchise has a loyal following.

Drishyam 3 concludes the crime thriller series that began in 2015, with Ajay Devgn returning as the resourceful Vijay Salgaonkar. The film faces the festive season box office, and its long weekend run is expected to carry it past the Rs 100 crore mark quickly if word of mouth holds.
