Maddock Films will unveil the trailer of "Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam" at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on Tuesday evening, in what is billed as the first-ever film trailer launch at the historic station. Rajkummar Rao, Wamiqa Gabbi, producer Dinesh Vijan and director Avinash Arun are expected to attend.

Rao plays noted public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, who led the prosecution in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks case against Ajmal Kasab. The venue is deeply symbolic: CSMT was one of the sites attacked on the night of November 26, 2008. The ensemble cast also includes Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikandar Kher and Tarun Sharma.

Ahead of the launch, Rao released a video reflecting on how certain dates, like 26/11, stay etched in the nation's memory. The courtroom drama revisits some of the defining legal battles of Nikam's career.

Directed by Avinash Arun and produced by Dinesh Vijan, "Prahaar" is slated to release in cinemas on October 16, 2026. The trailer launch marks the start of the film's promotional campaign.
