BCCI signs Muthoot Fincorp as India cricket title sponsor
The BCCI has announced Muthoot FinCorp as the title sponsor for India home cricket, with the association running through March 2028. The deal covers all international series played in India and BCCI domestic tournaments.
According to the BCCI’s media advisory on 26 September, the partnership began with India’s ODI against the West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram on 27 September. BCCI president Mithun Manhas welcomed the company to the BCCI family.
Reports said the deal was negotiated at a base price of INR 4.85 crore per match after an initial tender drew no bids. The BCCI has not confirmed a final figure, and some reports suggest it could be lower.
The outgoing sponsor IDFC First Bank had paid INR 4.2 crore per match. SBI Life, Campa and ChatGPT joined as associate partners for the same period, according to reports.
The sponsorship also covers BCCI domestic tournaments, giving the brand wide visibility. The deal runs until March 2028, spanning two full home seasons.
