Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang says the company will sell twice as many chips next year as it does this year. He made the remarks on September 17 at an AI summit convened by King Charles III in Scotland.

Huang told reporters that demand is broad-based. AI is contributing to industries and economies in nearly every country where Nvidia operates, according to CNBC’s reporting from the event.

The forecast refers to chip volumes, not revenue. Nvidia’s formal guidance calls for about 70 percent revenue growth in the fiscal year ending January 2028, which would put annual sales near $673 billion.

The company reported $96.2 billion in quarterly revenue in its latest results, up 106 percent from a year earlier. Data centre revenue alone reached $89 billion.

Chief financial officer Colette Kress has said the company is supply constrained, and revenue could double if supply allowed. Memory and manufacturing capacity will decide how far shipments can grow.
