Xiaomi 17T gets second Rs 5,000 price hike in India

Xiaomi has increased the price of the Xiaomi 17T in India by Rs 5,000 for the second time. The new prices took effect on October 1.
The 12GB+256GB variant now costs Rs 69,999, up from Rs 64,999. The 12GB+512GB variant is now Rs 74,999, up from Rs 69,999. The phone was launched in India in June at Rs 59,999 and Rs 64,999, so it is now Rs 10,000 more expensive than its launch price across variants.
The hike comes just days before the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale begins on October 8. Xiaomi has not formally announced the price revision, but a tipster shared what appeared to be an official communication to retail partners.
The Xiaomi 17T has a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chip with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM.
It has a Leica-backed triple rear camera: a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel 5x periscope telephoto and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide. The phone packs a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 67W HyperCharge and an IP68 rating.
It is available in Black, Blue and Violet.
