White House Gives CNN’s Air Force One Seat to LindellTV

The White House removed CNN from its scheduled television pool assignment aboard Air Force One on Saturday and listed LindellTV and Real America’s Voice in its place.
CNN had been set to serve as the pool network for President Trump’s trip to Knoxville, Tennessee. Instead, Friday evening’s schedule named the two conservative outlets as secondary television correspondents.
The move came days after a federal judge ordered the administration to restore White House credentials for CNN, MS NOW, and Politico. Judge Timothy Kelly issued a 14-day restraining order on Thursday, but it covered access to the White House complex, not travel pool assignments.
Trump had banned the three outlets last week, accusing them of spreading “FICTION and LIES.” The networks responded by filing a First Amendment lawsuit.
Earlier in the week, the five major TV networks had suspended pooled coverage entirely when the White House blocked CNN’s assignment at the United Nations General Assembly. The dispute over who rides along with the president shows no sign of ending.
