US President Donald Trump has said he is weighing major new sanctions on Iran even as he keeps the door open for negotiations with Tehran.

Speaking at a White House briefing, Trump said Iran was “in big trouble” economically and that its leadership wanted to make a deal. He did not rule out military options if talks fail.
