Pro-Palestine activists arrested over a break-in at RAF Fairford in the UK have been granted bail, a court decided on September 28.

The activists were detained after intruding into the Royal Air Force station in Gloucestershire, which hosts United States Air Force operations. Counter Terrorism Policing, which led the investigation, confirmed that no explosives were found and that only petrol was recovered.

The bail decision comes as the investigation continues into the circumstances of the break-in at the high-security installation. The base is one of several US-operated facilities in Britain and has been a focus of protests over the Gaza conflict.

Pro-Palestine demonstrations in the UK have repeatedly targeted sites linked to military support for Israel over the past year. Police have said the investigation remains ongoing and further court proceedings are expected.

The case has drawn attention to the security of joint UK-US military installations amid a wave of direct-action protests. The activists’ legal teams welcomed the bail order as the case moves toward trial.
