All 25 on board die in Nigerian Air Force plane crash

All 25 people on board a Nigerian Air Force aircraft died when it crashed in Ondo State. The force confirmed the toll.
The ATR 42 aircraft, NAF 931, crashed on 5 October in the Igbokoda area.
There were five crew members and 20 passengers on board.
Defence headquarters said some of the passengers were family members of personnel.
No survivors were found at the crash site.
The toll was revised down from 32. Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo had announced the higher figure on Monday.
President Bola Tinubu declared three days of national mourning. He ordered flags to fly at half-mast.
The aircraft was on a routine mission from Benin City to Lagos.
The wreckage was found in a swamp near a naval base. The swampy terrain slowed recovery work.
