India questions Pakistan’s terror double standards at UN

India has called out Pakistan’s double standards on terrorism at the United Nations. Indian diplomats raised the question of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar during a UN session.
Azhar remains a UN-designated global terrorist. India has long accused Pakistan of sheltering him. New Delhi says Islamabad speaks against terrorism abroad while protecting terror leaders at home.
The intervention came as Pakistan raised the Kashmir issue at the UN. India countered by pointing to Pakistan’s record on cross-border terrorism. Indian officials say the world can see through the contradiction.
India has pressed for global action against terror financing and safe havens for years. It argues that selective action against terrorists only encourages more attacks.
The exchange reflects the familiar pattern at the UN. Pakistan raises Kashmir, India responds with terrorism. The standoff shows no sign of ending. India’s message was clear: credibility on terrorism requires consistent action. India has also used global forums to push for the listing of more Pakistan-based terrorists. The diplomatic battle continues on multiple fronts.
