Romanian airline AnimaWings has suspended all flights from October 2 to October 24, 2026. The airline says it will resume operations on October 25 under a revised timetable.

The decision comes during a judicial reorganisation of the company. An updated passenger notice was issued at 5 pm on October 1. It replaced an earlier plan to keep flying with available aircraft.

A September 30 statement blamed recurring technical problems, reduced fleet availability and wider economic pressures for the restructuring. The suspension marks a sharp change in the airline’s immediate plans.

Passengers with bookings in the suspension period should check their reservation status. AnimaWings says cancellation emails are going out in travel-date order. Refunds will then be processed under the legal framework in place.

Under European Union rules, passengers who choose reimbursement must be paid within seven days. Passengers can also ask for rerouting to reach their destination. Those travelling after October 24 should still confirm their booking before going to the airport.
